For example: Let's say your average electric bill is $200 per month for the year and your fixed monthly solar payment is $100 per month but you are now only spending on average $50 per month with your energy provider. In this example even though you "technically" have 2 bills, they add up to an average of $150 per month, which is less than the $200 per month you were spending!
